Our past two weekends have been spent traveling to see each set of grandparents (and aunts, uncles, and cousins). It was really nice to have some family time since we have been so busy here at home.
My Mother's Day was super special with my little guy and being able to spend the day with my own mom & sister who is also a mom! I will spare the sappy details of how much I love little J, but I can't go without mentioning how being a mommy is a gift...the fact that God allowed ME to carry a child, experience a love so deep, and raise him with my best friend is a gift. Motherhood has brought its share of worries and not-so-desirable moments, but I wouldn't trade these years for anything. I love you, J!

The day I became a mommy.

Here we are at the zoo when J was about 8 mos. old-he was so easygoing, smiled at everyone, started waving about a month later...just a fun baby.

My 1st Mother's Day

Almost one year old here. J won his first cake on a cake walk. We had to spend a lot of time without Daddy during this time, because he was working out of town.

J's first haircut...a little sad for Mommy...don't let the big smile on my face fool you. I didn't want those precious curls cut off!

Relay for Life/My 2nd Mother's Day-J was 17 mos. old

My 3rd Mother's Day with J at almost 2.5-he's such a big boy who definitely has his own opinion about things. He is still pretty easygoing, but he has his moments...LOUD moments. He is our happy helper who loves his trucks, watching Barney, ANYTHING Donald Duck, the WATER, and so much more about life. :)
