Dave got home Tuesday afternoon after 7 days of being away. We were soooo excited to see him!! He got lots of kisses, hugs, and head-butts! We couldn't wait to do something as a family, so we headed to the YMCA water park. It was our first time there this summer, I'm sad to say. We didn't go at all last summer either. J didn't really like the water showering down on him on the slides. This was a huge change from a couple of years ago...uh-oh, looks like we need to get back there often! He did keep going back with a little "push" from us.

Look at this guy! He can bring himself out of the pool with very little help. He is strong and fast! I am glad it is paying off in one area!

Look at my boy doing the dolphin swim...soooo PROUD of him! We have worked on this a lot, but he didn't seem to have the core strength. He can do it now! He was proud of himself, too!

Summer Fun with Grandpa and Grammie

The boys and I spent a few days in Murrell's Inlet with my parents while Dave flew out to Colorado for work. I missed Dave like crazy, but being there kept our mind off of being apart. It was nice to have some help, too, even though little guy has turned into a complete Momma's boy! ;) The boys got in some good Grammie and Grandpa time, and John joined us at the end of the week. They had a blast together!
