A Weekend with the Grandparents
We spent last weekend with Dave's parents. The boys really loved swimming, going on the boat, and eating yummy seafood! J chose shrimp at almost every restaurant except for the time he chose a jumbo cupcake at a deli! :)
Dipping the flower petals out of the pool :)
First time in goggles
Lee, Thomas, and Jackson
Uncle Dave and Lee
Faster, Uncle Chad
Dinner
On the boat and with CRAZY hair
Lego time!
Mischief or Not?
It got really quiet the other morning, and we decided to go check on the boys. If you have NOT heard or seen L getting into something, you better go check on him. We walked into something super sweet...

Speech Camp
Jackson started speech camp two weeks ago! I had heard such great things about this program, but we wanted to wait until J had quite a few words under his belt to send him. They help him use those words with peers and help expand the phrases he has already. By the second day, they reported that he talked sooo much to them! He always wants to go and is totally pumped when I pick him up. I think it is safe to say he LOVES it! He knows all of the kids in his class and really likes playing with a little boy named Ryan.
One of our friends is a little girl who also has apraxia, and she is going to camp, too. Her mom and I decided to let them carpool, since it is about a 30 min. drive, and we both have younger boys. These two are hilarious -- never shed a tear about going with the other and remind us to get the other one! M makes sure J gets to his class ok, and he makes sure his seat is moved in the car to put hers in. J sings Journey to her on the way there, and she gives him the sweetest smile. They talk about what they like to eat, all that they are learning at camp, and so on..
The way the camp works is there is one SLP in the class and 4 interns, students in school to become a SLP. Many students apply for these postions, but there are only 32 chosen. They don't make a lot of money, but the experience is awesome! In turn, our children get tons of attention, because the ratio is so good! Some of the interns had never met or worked with an apraxic child, but had learned a lot about it. They were ready to meet J...he is pretty classic apraxic!

A silly story

Even the teachers made a cute farmer! Can you find Jackson's? Hint: Jackson's blue ribbon fell off!

Our Fearless Boys
We spent Saturday afternoon at the Y. Luke can't walk, but he has no fear on all fours! He wanted to get down and try everything he saw Jack do!
Jackson took their swim test which was swimming the width of the pool, so he got to slide down the BIG slide!
