1st Annual Walk for Apraxia

On October 6th, we had the opportunity to walk in honor of our sweet boy and raise awareness about apraxia.  Two other moms, a dad, and I put our heads together to plan this walk a little less than a year ago and truly never imagined the outcome would be THIS successful.  We had close to 30 friends and family walking in honor of Jackson, and we raised over $1000. What a special piece of Jackson's history...

An Afternoon Outside

Both boys LOVE playing outside! The weather has been so nice that we go for a walk and play outside almost everyday. Luke thinks he can keep up with Jackson! It is so funny how he doesn't even seem to realize he is SMALLER, not to mention lacks the same balance and coordination, as Jackson and his buddies. He definitely has no fear!

L often wants what J has....

Oh, good gracious...it is no wonder I have to question Big Brother when L is crying! ;)  To be totally honest, J is very sweet to L, but he is a typical big brother!

Our Annual Pumpkin Picking

We took the boys for our annual pumpkin picking trip! We didn't have a chance to go to the pumpkin patch this year, and I am not sure if Jackson's class will even be going. :( We were just too busy with the walk (a post in the making) to make it happen! I love this time of year with the children, so I am sad we didn't make it...will try very hard next year! Anyway, the boys and I drove by a few days ago to see if the pumpkins were out, yet, and they were! This is the first year that Jackson has been sooo excited about this family tradition. He reminded us on Saturday morning and all day Friday that we were going to "get pumpkin (to)morrow"!

He chose all BIG pumpkins!

We always manage to play chase wherever we go!
